Jamie's Food Revolution

Recently, I came across Jamie's Food Revolution set up by Chef Jamie Oliver, which promotes and prevents several social implications to do with food. Being a regular customer at Jamie's Italian, I was inspired by the impact and the philosophy of the campaign and decided I had to share it with you guys so that you too can take part and encourage your friends and family to do so as well.

Jamie Oliver mainly focuses his global campaign on the healthiness and wellbeing of children, discouraging obesity and unhealthy eating. He goes about this by promoting education, provision and engagement of healthy eating, in order to inform children and their parents, guardians and teachers the importance of eating healthily and consequences of obesity. The Food Revolution  is also keen to induce others to take part in the change, in particular the government, to improve nutrition policies.

He targets this Revolution in six target areas: Food Education, Nutrition, Food Waste, Our Planet, Cooking and Ethical Buying. As of now there are over 750,000 taking part in the campaign.

I highly encourage you to check it out, donate or act as a volunteer if you may!
