Wang Jia Sha is the new hip young and trendy Shanghainese restaurant at the heart of the ever-growing Causeway Bay. With a menu ranging from Dim Sum to noodle soups, there are endless surprises for everyone to try. As part of the Gaia Group, which also operates the Greyhound Café, you can ensure that the food quality is of high standards.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with bold colours of orange and red in the midst of a black background. In the style of Shanghai in the 60s and 70s, there is a trendy youthful atmosphere you can experience the moment you step through the elevator doors.

You can never go wrong with the classic Xiao Long Bao Dumpling. The outer skin of the dumpling is thin, but sturdy enough to support the warm soup and meat inside, which requires a lot of precision. The soup is rich and delightful and the meat flavorful. Overall, very delicious.

A traditional Chinese soup with a twist! The thick-based soup is of perfect consistency and balance of spiciness and sourness. The aroma of the spices is released through a sip of the soup. The noodles are chewy and fresh.  One of my favourite hot and sour soups that I've had.
