Oolaa- An Eggcellent Brunch

Weekend brunches are the best part in living in a city so full of hustle and bustle like Hong Kong. To enjoy eggy dishes, catch up with friends or just bask in the sun, there are endless opportunities that Oolaa provides as part of a brunch experience. In this huge, spacious dining room, Oolaa offers an extensive breakfast menu ranging from the classic Egg Benedict's to a Quinoa Breakfast Bowl and even a Breakfast Pizza.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a modern but rustic chic feel. Leather chairs and bar stools of all types alike are all placed in the beautiful Soho. The waiters are also down for casual conversation or a laugh about anything really.

Calamari
Calamari
Crunchy and savoury at first, with the tanginess of the lemon and the creaminess of the aioli. Then juicy and chewy in the middle once you reach the squid. The portion size was more than enough and overall very enjoyable appetiser for sharing.

on toasted sourdough, with asparagus, mushrooms and chives
Although the eggs were very pleasant in texture, with the chives, mushroom and asparagus, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of flavor. I had to add quite a lot of salt and pepper. The bread was pleasantly warm and the tomatoes on the side fresh. The portion was also generously large.
